I am willing to do commissions of just about anything. While I do not specialize in things like mechas or gore, and requesting them would be at your own risk, I am very open and enjoy new things, colorful and fun outfits, and couple pictures :3

I can do many other styles, such as plain beanie, stripes, circle, hearts, swirls, hats that look like dogs, hats that look like cupcakes, hats that look like motercycles (okay...maybe not that). -KNITTED THINGS-
I also make wristbands, armwarmers, leg warmers, purses--you name it. I can give a few generic examples, but don't be afraid to contact for a quote.

Rainbow-stripped, checkered, or any design purse; fully lined with long handles (messenger bag style) - $60 (EXAMPLE: [link] )

I am able to do MANY other things, such as decorate tote-bags, draw on shoes, sew costumes and accessories, and make plushies and items out of fleece.

I am very unhappy that you took advatage of my daughter. You charged her 25.00 for a drawing that was shipped in a envelope that may have been padded but when she opened it it was rinkled. Also she draws better than that and even on card stock, not on copy paper. You should rethink how you take advatage of people.

Have a GREAT day!
:iconleader1138:
She shipped it for free, what do you want? That and I don’t know how you could say your daughter draws better, they both draw in the simple style that is currently popular among animation production companies in Japan for its simplicity and thus cost effectiveness. Plus your daughter apparently draws on cardstock so you probably shouldn’t be going around touting her abilities unless, of course, you actually have no idea what you’re talking about.

I guess you also think that your daughter is a complete idiot as she spent 25 dollars on the drawing. I mean, seriously, what was she thinking? I would have thought that you could have taught her the importance of thriftiness but apparently you, while believing your child to be utterly incompetent and without taste, allow her to go to large gatherings of strangers where she is taken advantage of by teenaged hooligans. Of course, all of this is inconsequential as the price for the drawing is the standard for such a simple piece of work at these anime conventions. Your daughter knew this and purchased the item in question under completely legitimate circumstances.

I understand that you are probably not the type of person who buys original artwork so I will explain some things to you. While the actual cost of producing a piece could be nil, the finished product, being a painting, design, sculpture etc. is valued at a much higher price for various, often superficial, reasons. That is why an illustration on printer paper cost $25. How much do you think an artist spends on supplies for a $15,000 painting? Do you believe that the monetary value assigned to a piece of art has anything to do with the cost of producing it?

Slander is a serious matter, madam, especially when it occurs on the interweb. You’re lucky that you, a fifty year old woman, are only accosting a 19 year old girl who cannot afford a lawyer. Good day! :pringles:
:iconleader1138:
Also, I love the irony in your signature. :meow:
:iconleader1138:
One last thing: After looking more thoroughly through your daughter's work I can say with a fair amount of certainty that she does not draw better than Maid-Kyli.
:iconryanosaurusrex:
it is very uncommon for a person to actually draw on card stock, since it is a very slippery and smudgy surface. people print on it because it is easy to print on. of course if you would rather have your daughter have something on card stock, then be glad to know that instead of purchasing a one of a kind picture, she got some watered down, mass produced junk. ma'am, if you don't know the business, i suggest you don't comment about it.
:iconmaid-kyli:
Come on lady, grow up. Don't you know better than to publicly oust someone, when you could respectfully send private e-mails and maybe be taken seriously?
You should support your daughter a little more--maybe actually GO to a convention with her every once in a while. If you took a look around the artist alley, you would see my art is in no way drastically more expensive than anyone else's. My prices were right up front, all the information right there. Your daughter chose to purchase the commission--I did not take advantage of her in any way.
My choice of paper is my own. I don't draw on cardstock any more than I would draw on cardboard, or a sheet of styrofoam. All my examples are on printer paper--your daughter knew exactly what she was getting.
I charge everyone at a convention $25 for an inked illustration. You daughter chose to have it shipped to her, which I did FREE of charge.
So, in short, either hold her hand, follow her around at cons, and choose how she spends her every penny, or shut up and let her make her own choices.
